Commuter Alternatives: Employee Transportation Coordinators

Employee Transportation Coordinator serve as liaisons between the City of Elk Grove and employees/businesses in the City, and they play a vital role in implementing TDM Plans for businesses throughout the City of Elk Grove.

The Employee Transportation Coordinator’s responsibilities include:

• Posting TDM information.
• Promoting Sacramento Region 511 information and resources.
• Marketing the commuter rideshare matchlisting service.
• Promoting the Emergency Ride Home Program for employees.
• Participating in City sponsored training opportunities throughout the year.
• Promoting alternative transportation opportunities.
• Attending periodic on-site meetings with City of Elk Grove TDM Program staff.
• Participating in the Triennial Employee Transportation Survey.

The City of Elk Grove TDM Program is administered by the City of Elk Grove, Development Services, Transit Services. Staff are available to answer questions about the TDM program; and to provide advice, support, and material to Employee Transportation Coordinator responsible for promoting alternative commute opportunities.
