Fix 50 Project To Rehabilitate W/X Viaduct On U.S. Highway 50

Fix-50 Project Schedule:

One direction of the Viaduct will be closed at a time for rehabilitation:

Stage 1 – April 22 – May 21: Eastbound U.S. Highway 50
(with no work during Memorial Day Weekend)

Stage 2 – May 27 – June 25, 2014: Westbound U.S. Highway 50

Passengers are Encouraged to carpool and take alternate modes of transportation such as biking or e-tran Route 156 to Light Rail. Use alternate work schedules to avoid rush hour and Telecommute.

e-tran Service Modifications Effective May 25, 2014). Background: e-tran to implement service improvement/modifications in response to the Short Range Transit Plan (SRTP) recommendations and customer comments. Changes reflect updates to timetables to improve on-time performance and address connectivity at e-tran stops and Cosumnes River College (CRC).

Disabled Seats on e-tran Buses

The City of Elk Grove recently received notification from bus manufacturer New Flyer recommending that the four front facing flip-up seats be disabled in response to a safety issue they have become aware of.

We would like to clear up any miscommunications in regards to the modifications of the seats and apologize for the inconvenience this may cause.

Bus Stop at Cosumnes River College

Attention all riders currently using the bus stop at Cosumnes River College (CRC), effective December 23, 2013 the bus stop location will be moved from the East entrance of the College to the South entrance off of Old Calvine Road.  The bus stop will remain at this location until sometime in August of 2014 or until further notice.  During this time, e-tran routes servicing this location may experience some delays.  Thank you for your patience!  For any questions, please call (916) 683-8726.
